What Is the Leeds 10K?
Organised by Run For All, the Leeds 10K was launched in 2006 as part of Jane Tomlinson’s fundraising legacy. Since then, it has become one of the largest and most popular 10K races in the North of England, welcoming participants from across the UK. The event is known for its inclusive nature, encouraging everyone from elite athletes to complete beginners to take part.
Leeds 10K Route
The race starts outside the Parkinson Building at the University of Leeds before winding through some of Leeds’ most recognisable streets and landmarks. Runners pass through areas including Headingley and the city centre before finishing on The Headrow in front of cheering crowds. The route is primarily on closed roads, making it ideal for both first-time runners and those chasing a fast time.
